Prior to founding Whir, Joe studied goldsmithing at George Brown College and graduated with honours from the Jewellery Methods Program in 2017. He also holds an undergraduate degree in architecture from Ryerson University (B. ArchSc., with honours, 2008). Joe applies his working knowledge in balancing aesthetics, function, and practical problem-solving accumulated from a decade of professional experience in architectural, CAD/CAM and construction to objects at various scales.
